Who We Are

RuPEN in Action

Rural Population Empowerment Network (RuPEN) is a youth-led, non-profit, organization created on the 5th of June 2022 and legally registered on the 19th of July 2022 as a Non-profit making association, with registration number 026/RDE/F.31/SAAJP.
Our activities center on income-generating skills training, networking, scholarships, education access, digital and environmental awareness, and advocacy for gender equality, youth engagement, and sustainable practices. RuPEN targets underprivileged emerging leaders and emphasizes environmental leadership skills, driven by core values of empowerment, equity, sustainability, and collaboration, with a mission to create lasting impact through education, skills, and advocacy for a resilient and equitable future.
Our vision involves global collaboration to promote inclusive growth, gender balance, youth empowerment, environmental protection, and the UN SDGs to combat poverty and inequality in Cameroon and Sub-Saharan Africa.
